Diverse requirements of the medical industry prompted the company to develop innovative solutions, taking into account critical factors like economic pressure, patient population as well as the regulatory backdrop of the region. The company’s X-ray portfolio, ensuring the availability of digital radiography across the globe, is well-suited for medical practitioners. Philips diagnostic X-ray portfolio consists of DuraDiagnost, DigitalDiagnost, MobileDiagnost wDR, MobileDiagnost Opta[i], ProGrade and PrimaryDiagnost[ii].
The novel SkyPlate portable detector is the key solution of the portfolio. It is a wireless cassette device enabling transmission across several digital radiography systems by the company, assuring an instant bedside availability of images for patients. Philips’ Eleva user interface ensures speedy and reliable workflow results. Moreover, it has additional features to customize and save user settings, so as to allow rapid image availability. This apart, the company’s SkyFlow technology, that is available with the DigitalDiagnost and MobileDiagnost wDR solutions, enables clinicians to obtain detailed contrast offering grid-like images for bedside chest radiography.
Philips' Unified Image Quality Enhancement (“UNIQUE”) software is shared by all the company systems to maintain the standard of imaging across all the whole anatomy. This software is an added benefit for clinicians as it minimizes the number of follow-ups and X-rays as well.
