Fiserv, Inc. (FISV”>FISV) recently announced that Fulton Financial Corporation has selected a complete outsourced banking solution based on the Signature bank platform from Fiserv. Fulton, with $16 billion in assets, chose Fiserv due to its advanced technology with flexible, scalable and integrated systems.
The platform is expected to help the company focus on its organic and acquisition growth targets, deepen its sales and service excellence culture and increase efficiency through streamlined processes.
Signature provides financial institutions with a complete end-to-end solution for account processing. Having almost 273 branches spanning across five states, Fulton plans to utilize the strength of Fiserv data and analytics solutions to enhance its ability to service new and existing customers effectively.
In addition, Fulton chose other products from Fiserv which include Prologue Financial Accounting Services, Construction Loan Manager, Bank Intelligence Solutions and debit processing. Fulton Financial has previously implemented CheckFree RXP for bill payment, ZashPay for person-to-person payments and Mobile Money for mobile banking.
Earlier, Fiserv agreed to support interest-rate risk and liquidity risk management strategies of RHB Banking Group (RHB).
Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, RHB has seven distinct strategic business groups and an asset base of more than $43 billion. With the Malaysian economy regaining momentum, the bank emphasizes its growth plans by improving its risk infrastructure and analytics.
RHB believes that Fiserv will assist the bank in expanding its Islamic banking and global financial banking businesses and also help in complying with the new liquidity framework requirements set by Bank Negara Malaysia.
Moreover, RHB seeks to execute Fiserv’s educational seminars on a range of topics for its internal staff.
The solutions offered by Fiserv manages integrated and advanced liquidity risk, interest-rate risk, market risk, credit risk and economic capital, which are essential elements of effective corporate governance and enterprise risk management.
