GE Acquires Technology Assets of CSense – Analyst Blog (GE) (UTX)

GE Intelligent Platforms, a division of General Electric Company ([stock]GE[/stock]),  has announced the acquisition of technology assets from CSense Systems (Pty) Ltd. of South Africa.

The acquisition includes CSense’s analytic software products and engineering solutions. This provides advanced capabilities to proactively identify and solve potential process problems.

The CSense asset acquisition enhances the remote monitoring & diagnostics solutions capability recently acquired from SmartSignal Corporation.

In another development, GE Capital’s Telecom, Media and Technology financing business has successfully completed 5 transactions totaling $ 591million in the first quarter of 2011.
