HONG KONG, Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Reference is made to the press releases by China CITIC Bank International Limited (the “Company“) dated 14 February 2019, 25 February 2019 and 27 February 2019 (together, the “Press Releases“) relating to the offer to purchase (the “Offer“) for cash any and all of the Notes validly tendered (and not validly withdrawn) by holders and accepted for purchase, on the terms and conditions set forth in the tender offer memorandum dated 14 February 2019 (the “Tender Offer Memorandum“). Capitalised terms used but not otherwise defined here shall have the meaning given to them in the Press Releases and the Tender Offer Memorandum.

Updated Results of the Offer

Following the receipt of additional tender instructions that have been made prior to the Expiration Time, the Company announces that it has accepted for purchase US$195,616,000 (or 39.12%) in aggregate principal amount of Notes.

The Any and All Settlement Date of the Offer is expected to be on or about 28 February 2019, when payment of the Tender Consideration plus Accrued Interest for all Notes validly tendered and accepted for purchase by the Company, other than the Notes tendered using the guaranteed delivery procedures, will be made.
