TORONTO, Sept. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ – Russel Metals Inc. (RUS – TSX) announces that it acquired Color Steels Inc. on September 1, 2017.

Color Steels is a service center operation which processes and distributes pre-painted metals from its facilities in Thornhill, Ontario and Laval, Quebec. Revenues for the last year were approximately $45 million. The current management team will remain in place and David Sanderson will continue as President of Color Steels.
