Campbell Bros. Extends Their Moving Family

EDMONTON, March 1, 2017 /CNW/ – On March 1, 2017, Highland Moving & Storage changes ownership from the Kachur family to the Campbell family. After 79 years of serving Alberta’s moving needs, Highland will move forward under new leadership but with the same name and dedicated, experienced staff with a commitment to safeguard and expand its full moving services for Albertans.

Rapidly expanding Campbell Bros. Group of moving companies, with its head office in London, ON has purchased the Highland Moving and Starline Overseas companies. Don Campbell, the president of Campbell Bros., and Don Kachur, have been partners in United Van Lines (Canada) Ltd., for decades and both have served as board members and Chairman of United. When it came time for Don Kachur to retire, it made sense to keep the company in the United family by selling to the Campbell Group.

Highland Moving and Campbell Bros. were both born in the traditions of family values and hard work. With a seamless transition from one family to another, Highland Moving will offer the same great moving experience with Campbell Bros., who, with 19 offices across the country, make it Canada’s largest family-owned moving company.
