Acadia Healthcare is setting up a dedicated 24/7 hotline into which FBINAA members and affiliates can engage in confidential assessment of their needs, and placement into the right program or facility.

The company operates a network of 591 behavioral healthcare facilities with approximately 17,800 beds in 39 states, the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico. Acadia provides behavioral health and addiction services to its patients in various settings. This includes inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics and therapeutic school-based programs.
Looking ahead, Acadia Healthcare is well positioned to gain from the growing market for behavioral services as awareness on mental health & substance abuse conditions and treatment options is spreading. Apart from the U.S., Acadia Healthcare has significant growth opportunities in the U.K., where the independent mental health hospitals market is growing at a rapid pace. This is primarily due to a large addressable market in the U.K., with approximately 8.7 million people suffering from mental disorders.
However, the company’s high debt level is a concern. We apprehend Acadia Healthcare’s debts to hurt its financial position over the long haul.
