United Technologies Corp. UTX recently announced Vince Campisi as its new Senior Vice President, Digital, and Chief Information Officer. Per the declaration, Campisi will take charge of his office from Jun 27, 2016.
Campisi is the successor of Nancy Davis, who will retire by the end of this year. Davis has served the company for 37 years and her retirement will mark the end of a long tenure.
Camprisi has been entrusted to provide a strategic direction to United Technologies’ global IT operations.

Campisi has a rich professional history as he has worked as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of General Electric Company’s GE digital segment. He was responsible for providing cybersecurity, business and cloud operations to boost productivity and enhance customer value. His in-depth knowledge and experience in software and data-analytics based solutions will come to the aid of United Technologies.
Before becoming the COO, Campisi was the General Manager, Cloud Services & Chief Information Officer for GE Software, where he focused on driving growth and productivity across the company. He drove nearly $50 billion service franchise by setting up big data analytics and leveraging mobile technologies.
Recently, a former board member of Capgemini, Ashok Vemuri, was appointed as the CEO of Xerox Corporation’s XRX new BPO entity. Vemuri’s deep industry expertise and successful track record of leading growth and corporate transformations will be profitable for the BPO company’s success.
