(or “Speedgrip”), an Elkhart, Ind.-based designer and manufacturer of highly engineered workholding mechanisms, has been acquired by an affiliate of Stratford-Cambridge Group, a private investment firm headquartered in Plymouth, Mich.

Speedgrip was founded in 1946 and operates and distributes its products out of its facility in Elkhart, Indiana.
