Starwood Debuts Four Points by Sheraton in Cincinnati, Ohio

With a steady rise in business and leisure travel driven by an improving economy, hoteliers are looking to expand their footprint in the U.S. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. HOT recently announced the debut of the Four Points by Sheraton brand in Cincinnati, OH. The Four Points Cincinnati North is owned by Five Points Group, LLC, and managed by Columbus Hospitality.

The 90-room property is strategically located between Dayton and Cincinnati making it a favorite among both leisure and business travelers.

The new hotel offers a modern meeting space, including a ballroom that can accommodate 250 guests, in addition to an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center. The hotel also has a lobby lounge that offers authentic local brews and a restaurant specializing in American cuisine.

The Four Points Cincinnati North will cater to the growing demand of mid-market travelers while expanding the brand’s presence in the domestic market. Currently, Starwood operates over 200 hotels under the Four Points brand in more than 40 countries and intends to expand the number of rooms in the portfolio by nearly 60% over the next five years.

In fact, earlier this month the company unveiled the first Four Points hotel in Magong City, Penghu Island in Taiwan to expand the brand in both mature and emerging economies. (Read: Starwood Opens Second Four Points Hotel in Taiwan)
