ITT’s Enidine Rotorcraft Products Debut with Bell 525

Zacks

ITT Corporation (ITT) recently announced that rotorcraft products of its Enidine brand have debuted on the first test flight of its key partner Bell Helicopter’s 525 Relentless. Enidine’s highly-advanced technology has allowed Bell 525 Relentless to significantly reduce noise and vibration, which in turn, will help extend lifespan of the aircraft’s rotorcraft components.

Enidine, offering a broad spectrum of energy absorption, vibration isolation and noise attenuation products, enjoys a solid reputation among clients for extending lifespan of equipment and supporting passenger safety and reliability. Working in the capacity of a partner for Bell Helicopter, Enidine has been able to slash production time by 60%, as a result of maintaining close relationships with suppliers and mold houses.

Bell 525 Relentless, which conducted its first voyage last July, has made significant progress in the “vertical lift” process helped by ITT’s revolutionary engineered solution. This apart, ITT’s Aerospace Controls, which specializes in providing fluid control devices for the aerospace industry, is working closely with the Bell 525 team to improve its fuel system solutions.

Overall, backed by these initiatives, ITT’s Control Technologies business segment is vying for a better position in infrastructure, energy, automation and aerospace markets. Control Technologies manages some of the company’s leading brands like Enidine, Turn-Act and Compact Automation. Earlier in March, ITT completed the acquisition of the leading aerospace environmental control systems manufacturer, Hartzell Aerospace, to strengthen its prospects in the commercial aerospace component market.

ITT currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). Better-ranked stocks in the industry at the moment include Dycom Industries Inc. DY, Federal Signal Corp. FSS and Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation MIC. While Dycom sports a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), both Federal Signal and Macquarie Infrastructure hold a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).
