ITASCA, Ill., Dec. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG) today announced the acquisition of McPherson Benefits Group, LLC. in Madison, Mississippi. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Formed in 2005, McPherson Benefits Group (McPherson) provides employee benefit consultation, management and brokerage services for larger employer clients throughout the southern United States. They specialize in the design and ongoing management of employee benefit programs with a special emphasis on self-funded medical plans and voluntary products. Tracie McPherson and her associates will continue to operate in their current location under the direction of John Neumaier, head of Gallagher’s South Central employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.
