ViaSat Inc. VSAT disclosed advancement of its cyber security services and products portfolio for its federal clients. The company has decided to showcase its complete government product and cybersecurity service portfolio at the NSA-sponsored Information Assurance Symposium in Washington D.C.
ViaSat’s new offering will now enable the government agencies and military officials to protect and securely share their classified data and proactively detect and address threats in real time. The company applies a total system approach, which allows the users to optimize existing security investments and amalgamate new services and technologies, as per their need, to ensure a comprehensive view of their network security infrastructure.
In particular, with regard to cybersecurity services, ViaSat’s upgraded portfolio now includes vulnerability assessment and remediation services along with managed security services. On the other hand, the government security product offering now includes a wide range of network encryption products, commercial solutions for classified products and trusted cyber sensors.
We are encouraged with this product enhancement move of ViaSat for federal clients that are one of the major revenue drivers for it. In fiscal 2015, Viasat reaped about 23% of its total revenues from the U.S. government as an individual customer.
Amid mounting cyber attacks across the U.S. corporate world and government organizations, firms are highly focusing on security spending to avert classified data losses and protect their systems from illicit groups. With a comprehensive cybersecurity offering, ViaSat is well poised to cash in on rising demand.
