Williams-Sonoma already has seven studios. It offers work space for different departments, including colorist dye shop, weaving, carpentry and 3D modeling space. There will be infrastructure for development of new products, techniques and collaboration with other artists.
Williams-Sonoma products are designed by in-house designers and craftsmen. The company also collaborates with celebrated brands and designers to offer exclusive designs on home furnishings products.
In 2014, the company engaged reputed designers like Emily Current and Meritt Elliott to create exclusive home furnishing collections. The company introduced a new TK line of cooking pans under the brand All-Clad, designed by Thomas Keller. In Dec 2014, the company entered into a partnership with Kate Spade Saturday, the fashion and lifestyle brand of Kate Spade & Company KATE.
