Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada (H+K), a part of the world’s biggest advertising group, WPP plc WPPGY, was recently awarded the distinction of being one of the Best Workplaces in Canada from The Great Place to Work Institute. H+K — Canada’s No. 1-rated public affairs and public relations firm, has won this honour for the ninth year in a row.
H+K has featured among a list of just 100 other companies, all distinguished for their steadfast commitment to building positive cultures and excellent workplace environments. In addition, the firm won the recognition of a four-time recipient of the Best Workplaces for Women Award. This year’s list received more than 300 nominations, with over 60,000 employees taking part in the survey.
The survey primarily considers employee views, along with cultural review of the organization, including an evaluation of HR policies, procedures and benefits.
H+K has been known to prioritize its employees and help them manage the work-life balance perfectly. The firm stresses on that perfect balance, believing that the balance ultimately drives both retention and productivity. This holistic cycle benefits work culture and client value as it greatly improves productivity.
H+K offers educational programs and training opportunities, such as short- and long-term cross-cultural work experiences.
