With holiday shopping in full swing, Office Depot, Inc. (ODP) has announced a set of lucrative deals for the eleventh-hour shoppers. Under the company’s” Your Holiday Workshop” campaign, it has come up with innovative gift ideas and deals for shoppers including latest gadgets and related accessories.
Most shoppers tend to drag their Christmas shopping deadline and are unable to finish it even a week before the holiday. As per 2013 National Retail Federation data only 29% of Americans buy their final gift by Dec 18. In order to lure these large number of last minute shoppers, Office Depot has come up with these deals.
Additionally, Office Depot will provide convenient in-store mailing and shipping services in its outlets. The services will be available over weekends and late evenings in addition to regular store hours.
Some of the in-store deals available from 14th-20th December include $20 off on 7” Toshiba Android Tablet, for $79.99, and $25 off on 7” Fire HD7 Tablet. In “$5 Tech Accessories” the company is offering JLab JBuds with Mic Earbuds, 2XL Wage Headphones by Skullcandy, 2200 mAh Portable Powerbank and Select iLuv Phone Cases for iPhone.
From 21st-27th December, in store deals will include $160 off on Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series Laptop with AMD A4 processor, for $319.99, and $50 off on Toshiba Satellite C75D Laptop with AMD A6 processor, for $369.99. During this period, the company will be offering 50-60% discount on several tech accessories like Bluetooth Speaker with speakerphone function, Targus 2600 mAh Portable Battery and 2XL Shakedown On-ear Headphones by Skullcandy. The company will also offer Office Depot or Office Max gift cards to the customers.
Office depot at present is Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) stock. Other retailers worth consideration include Big 5 Sporting Goods Corp. (BGFV), The Michaels Companies, Inc. (MIK) and Rite Aid Corporation (RAD). All carrying a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy).
