Donaldson Company (DCI) Crumbles: Stock Falls by 6.8% – Tale of the Tape

Zacks

Donaldson Company, Inc. (DCI) saw a big move last session, as the company’s shares fell by nearly 7% on the day. The move came on pretty good volume too with far more shares changing hands than in a normal session. This reverses the recent trend for DCI as the stock is now up 10% since Oct 22.

The pollution control company has seen a flat track record when it comes to current year estimate revisions over the past few weeks which has remained unchanged, and the consensus for earnings hasn’t been in a trend either. This recent price action is discouraging, so make sure to keep a close watch on this firm in the near future, and especially on earnings estimates following the recent slump.

DCI currently has a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell).

Some better-ranked stocks in the same sector include Perma-Fix Environmental Services Inc. (PESI), Progressive Waste Solutions Ltd. (BIN) and CECO Environmental Corp. (CECE). While Perma-Fix Environmental Services and Progressive Waste Solutions carry a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), CECO Environmental holds a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).
