RIVIÈRE-DU-LOUP, QC, Oct. 28, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ – Premier Tech is pleased to announce the acquisition of German companies REWATEC GmbH (Rewatec) and ROTA GmbH (Rota) by its Environmental Technologies Group. Those companies have offices in Hamburg and Berlin, and a plant in Boizenburg. They are among the leaders in the rainwater harvesting and decentralized wastewater treatment market on the German territory. Rewatec and Rota have been building their success on over 20 years of innovation, manufacturing excellence and close collaborations with their commercial partners.

Altogether employing more than 100 team members, those entities will be doing business under the name Premier Tech Aqua and will add to the European presence of Premier Tech’s Environmental Technologies Group in France, England, Ireland and Portugal.

With some 650 team members and nine plants on the European continent, Premier Tech’s presence will accelerate with this acquisition and the deployment of the product and market synergies inherent to the integration of Rewatec and Rota into the great Premier Tech family. Indeed, Premier Tech will now achieve 30% (nearly €180M) of its sales in Europe.

This acquisition adds to another Premier Tech made just over a year ago, which marked the entry of the company’s Environmental Technologies Group in the wastewater treatment market in the United Kingdom and Ireland. “Those two acquisitions are fully aligned with Premier Tech’s strategic Vision to expand its presence in Europe while improving its strategic and technological positioning,” explained Jean B langer, Premier Tech’s President and Chief Operating Officer.
