As per Toy Insider Hot 20 list compiled by Adventure Publishing Group, two toys based on the franchise are on it. Snow Glow Elsa doll, modeled on the protagonist, has a dress that lights up and Cool Tunes Sing-Along Boombox, a karaoke machine that features the movie’s soundtrack. Also, Elsa doll features on Toys “R” Us fabulous 15 list. These toys are manufactured by JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (JAKK).
'Frozen' raked in more than $1.2 billion in worldwide ticket sales, which makes it Disney’s highest revenue generating animation film surpassing the 1994 blockbuster, 'The Lion King', which earned close to a billion.
‘Frozen' is the story of a brave princess who sets off on a journey to find her estranged sister, whose magical powers have unintentionally trapped the kingdom in an everlasting winter. An iceman and his reindeer and a snowman accompany her in this adventurous journey. With such a warm theme and a beautiful message, the movie has an extensive appeal, which makes the merchandise an ideal choice for parents to gift their children on Christmas.
Apart from ‘Frozen’ toys, other extremely popular toys this season on several compiled lists are likely to be Doc McStuffins Get Better Talking Mobile from Just Play, Hot Wheels Street Hawk Remote Control Flying Car from Mattel, Inc. (MAT), LEGO FUSION Town Master from LEGO Systems Inc., Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Stretch ‘N’ Shout Leonardo from Playmates Toys, and TRANSFORMERS Stomp & Chomp GRIMLOCK from Hasbro Inc. (HAS).
