GLASGOW, Scotland, Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Lockton Companies, LLP today announced that it has reached agreement to acquire the Glasgow general insurance business of Griffiths & Armour. The transaction completed on October 1.

This builds on Lockton’s investments in the Scottish corporate insurance market following the strategic hires announced in June of Gordon Duncan, Gordon McLagan, and Nichola Martin.

Lockton’s corporate risk business in Scotland works with clients in all sectors pro-actively designing and implementing bespoke insurance and risk management solutions to protect their balance sheet and help them become more successful.
