FormFactor’s New Vector NAND Flash Memory Probe Card

Zacks

FormFactor, Inc. (FORM) recently unveiled its Vector NAND Flash Memory probe card, an innovative MEMS-based probe card for testing cost-sensitive NAND Flash devices.

Equipped with unconventional vDock architecture, that allows test floor flexibility via multiple-device reusability, Vector addresses its customers' performance and uptime requirements.

It also helps its customers fulfill their cost and time-to-market targets.

Vector is already delivering the goods to a leading NAND Flash device fabricator. Customers can now bring their products to the market in quick time, given the test efficiencies and lower costs.

The NAND Flash market is expanding at a rapid pace. Demand is propelled by smartphones and solid-state drives that are utilized in personal computers (PCs) as well as enterprise data centers.

Due to the growth trend, probe card demand for testing NAND Flash devices is also growing rapidly. VLSI research predicts that probe card sales for NAND Flash devices will almost touch $220 million by 2018.

FormFactor is one of the world's foremost providers of vital wafer test technologies and proficiency, with an exhaustive portfolio of high-performance probe cards for DRAM, Flash and SoC devices.

FormFactor currently holds a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell). Better-ranked stocks in the industry include Ambarella, Inc. (AMBA), Avago Technologies Limited (AVGO) and Cirrus Logic Inc. (CRUS), all of which sport a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy).
