Based in metro Detroit, EMS manages and staffs emergency departments for Ascension Health and McLaren Health Care at the following eight area facilities: St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit; St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren; St. John Macomb-Oakland in Madison Heights; St. John River District in East China; St. John Medical Center Macomb Township in Macomb Township; McLaren Central Michigan in Mt. Pleasant; McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing; and McLaren Flint in Flint. As one of the oldest emergency physician groups in Michigan, EMS provides care for approximately 400,000 patients annually.
