Recycling and waste company Republic Services, Inc (RSG) recently announced the launch of a new mobile application called My Resource, which will aid customers to effortlessly manage their accounts. The My Resource mobile application will enable customers to access and pay their bills, view past invoices and service schedules, find new products and service solutions. All of these functions can be availed round the clock with a simple touch of a button.
The mobile app furthers Republic's commitment to providing online services to its customers after the successful launch of a namesake customer account management web portal in 2013.
The new application provides many additional features like weather-related service alerts as well as other reminders, which help the user to be informed about when their recycling and waste service provider will render its services. Through this mobile application, residential customers can receive a notification informing them of changes in service schedules in their neighbourhood due to rough weather.
Also it helps construction managers review the latest product offerings and identify the right products and services. The launch of such applications for smartphone users coupled with huge growth opportunity in virtualization will act as a positive catalyst for the company going forward.
Republic Services is the second largest domestic non-hazardous solid waste company in the U.S. It provides non-hazardous solid waste disposal services for commercial, industrial, municipal and residential applications through a network of collection companies.
