Homejoy, the leading platform for home services, announced today that they have acquired Get Maid, with Co-founders Steven Gutentag and Demetri Karagas joining the Homejoy team in New York City. Get Maid, a premium, on-demand maid service, originally launched in New York in December 2012, and quickly expanded to serve clients across Queens and Brooklyn. Get Maid clients will now have the option to book via the Homejoy platform.
