Ryland Homes, Inc. (RYL) recently announced the start of a new community of townhomes and luxury single family homes at Brick Yard Station in Laurel, MD. Townhomes prices start from the $400’s and the single family homes are priced from mid $400’s onward.
The townhomes at Brick Yard Station will feature an Arcadia floor plan, an open kitchen, a loft, a rooftop terrace, a 2-car garage and an owner’s suit with a walk-in closet and luxury bathroom. The community will also include a coffee house equipped with Wi-Fi and a large flat screen TV.
On the other hand, the luxury single family homes at Brick Yard Station will offer Seneca floor plan along with a 2-car garage, a morning room and gourmet kitchen. The homes can also be designed according to the Millbrook floor plan, which includes owner’s suite with dual walk-in closets, vanities, an enclosed water closet, soaking tub and shower, as per the buyer’s preference.
In March, the company unveiled new townhomes and apartments at Acacia at Cypress Village, in Irvine, CA,. Homebuyers can choose from four floor plans. These homes feature 2 bedrooms, 2 and a half baths, porches, walk-in closets and a 2 car garage.
Though interest rates have started increasing lately, they are still below historical levels and housing is still affordable. Thus, high affordability levels, increased rentals and historically-low interest rates are driving the housing recovery. In addition, accelerating job growth and increasing consumer confidence are also boosting the demand for new homes. In order to cater to the increasing demand, Ryland Homes is investing heavily in building homes.
