Vehicle rental giant, Hertz Global Holdings Inc. (HTZ), is on a renovation spree, giving a modern touch to its outlets across the globe in order to enhance the car rental experience of its customers. As part of this global reinvention plan, the company gave a swanky look to its flagship location at the Frankfurt Airport.

So far, the company has successfully updated over 400 Hertz locations worldwide, with more than 200 redesigned in Europe, Australia and South Africa.

The refurbished counters at Frankfurt Airport’s Terminals 1 and 2 feature a technologically advanced setup along with modern interiors. The interiors are designed in the open-plan style featuring counters on a large landscape with dual screen, high resolution monitors that make the rental process even simpler. This accompanies a concierge-style greeting service to make customers feel comfortable. These features are the first of its kind in the car rental industry.

Additional, services on these counters include a large screen on Terminal 1 that repeatedly features Frankfurt and Hertz's products, complimentary Wi-Fi access, a 'Recharge Zone' for mobile phones and electronic devices in Terminal 1 and a 'Discovery Zone' that enables customers to access details of Hertz's products and the latest news.

In addition to renovating its counters at the airport, the company has altered its parking zone to ease the pickup and return procedure. This redesigned parking lot compliments the renovated Hertz counters featuring information screens, Hertz Dream Collection display and modern digital reservation signs for Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members.

The Hertz service at the Frankfurt airport allows travelers to choose from a wide range of vehicles in its fleet that includes everything starting from small practical cars, sedans and station wagons to classy convertibles such as the Jaguar F-TYPE from its Dream Collection. Other products offered by the company include a high-tech navigation system ‘NeverLost’ and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot service.

Apart from being a high-tech outlet, the newly renovated Frankfurt location is eco-friendly as it is designed to recycle general and automobile wastes and uses energy efficient lighting and equipment together with water saving fixtures.

The revamp at the Frankfurt airport follows the company’s successful makeovers at its flagship locations in the San Diego and Newark Airports in the U.S and London Marble Arch in UK. Additionally, the company is almost through with the renovation of its flagship outlet at Paris Saint Ferdinand.
