The addition of Diamond brings to Prospect four experienced mortgage professionals and one of Southeastern Connecticut’s strongest mortgage brokerage firms.

Joining Prospect as members of The Diamond Mortgage Group team will be:

• Diane H. DeLauro co-founded The Diamond Mortgage Group™ in 1998. She has over 25 years of experience in mortgage lending, including five years as Vice President/Regional Mortgage Sales Manager. Ms. DeLauro holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is a member of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association, the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors and is a Corporator for Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. Ms. DeLauro is a licensed mortgage loan originator in the state of Connecticut.
• Sandra A. Montanari co-founded The Diamond Mortgage Group™ in 1998. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Ms. Montanari has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, including eight years as a Regional Mortgage Underwriting Manager and extensive experience as a previous designated underwriter for FHA programs. Ms. Montanari is a member of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association, the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors. She is a licensed mortgage loan originator in the state of Connecticut.
• Susan E. Shepherd began her career at The Diamond Mortgage Group™ as a mortgage consultant in 1998, and was made a partner in 2002. Ms. Shepherd has over 17 years of mortgage originating experience. Her background also includes banking experience in customer service and consumer lending roles. Ms. Shepherd is a member of the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors and the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. She is a licensed mortgage loan originator in the state of Connecticut.
• Heather Cini Roberts has over 15 years of accounting, auditing and finance experience. She has served in a variety of finance and audit roles for mortgage companies and financial institutions. Ms. Roberts joined Prospect Mortgage in 2013. She graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Ms. Roberts is a licensed mortgage loan originator in the state of Connecticut, a member of the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors and the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce.
