BDO expands presence in Halifax through mergers with McCuaig & Company and Raymond Yuill

HALIFAX, Nov. 13, 2013 /CNW/ – BDO Canada LLP is pleased to announce the
expansion of its professional practice in Halifax through mergers with
two firms, McCuaig & Company and Raymond Yuill Chartered Accountants.

BDO’s Financial Recovery Services (FRS) practice, BDO Canada Limited,
Trustee in Bankruptcy, will merge with McCuaig & Company, a boutique
insolvency firm based in Halifax, effective November 16, 2013. BDO’s
accounting, tax and advisory practice will merge with Raymond Yuill, a
leading accounting, tax and advisory firm with offices in Bedford,
Bridgewater and Liverpool, effective December 1, 2013. The merged firms
will operate under the BDO name.

BDO’s merger with McCuaig & Company and Raymond Yuill continues the
firm’s focus on expanding its services and team in Atlantic Canada. Our
expanded team in Atlantic Canada will have over 150 professionals with
offices in 15 locations across New Brunswick, Newfoundland and
Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
