DDCworks Continues To Expand, Adds Industry Veteran to Head Up Brand Strategy and Advertising

PR Newswire

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Oct. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — DDCworks, a leading full-service, integrated brand communications firm, announced today that it has acquired strategic marketing communications firm The ODM Group founded and led by Jay Osterholm, MBA, who joins DDCworks as Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Jay is a proactive and dynamic leader, who has developed his career through hands-on experience with both emerging and established brands across a wide variety of industries including consumer products, corporate and industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, insurance, non-profit, and entertainment.

Osterholm’s roles at DDCworks will include leading all brand strategy initiatives as well as the advertising account management team in an effort to meet clients’ strategic communications needs through promoting brand awareness, developing strategic advertising campaigns, launching new products, and spearheading entry into new markets. He will also play a significant role developing new business for DDCworks.

After purchasing a digital agency in 2009, Jay promptly made it his own by rebranding and restructuring the company as The ODM Group. He then spent the next six plus years maximizing talent and successfully helming the intrepid strategic communications company by providing advertising, public relations, and creative digital development strategies to clients across the country. While running his own agency, Jay built a substantial new client base and designed and executed strategic communications roadmaps for clients tied to analytics-quantified outcomes. Prior to his tenure with The ODM Group, Osterholm was responsible for creating the healthcare division within Lorel Marketing Group where he served as General Manager and Executive Vice President leading the agency into a new era of profitability. Fueling Jay’s deep knowledge of the healthcare space is a six-year stint in pharmaceutical and medical device development when he founded two venture-backed medical start-ups and served as a program management leader for a large multi-national pharmaceutical company.

The addition of Osterholm will enhance DDCworks’ already successful brand strategy and advertising practice by integrating years of industry expertise at the executive level and strengthening the agency’s current client base. For DDCworks, the most exciting aspect of the new relationship is the addition of one of the Philadelphia region’s premier communications experts.

For Tim Cifelli, president and COO at DDCworks, the opportunity to work side by side with Jay on a daily basis was a no brainer. “Jay and our entire management team have enjoyed a great professional relationship over the past three years. We previously worked together as strategic partners on a number of projects including Holy Family University, Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center and Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa,” Cifelli explained. “We are always looking for ways to expand our company and a professional who founded and managed a successful agency for many years made Jay the ideal candidate.”

“I’m extremely excited to join the team at DDCworks. Together, I look forward to integrating a blend of creativity, business savvy, drive, innovation, experience and resourcefulness required for sustained success,” Osterholm asserted.
