To be recognized, transactions had to close between October 1, 2012, and August 31, 2013 and be over $10 million in transaction value to qualify as a finalist. An independent group of experts from the M&A industry will now begin the judging to determine the winning recipients of the awards. The award winners will be announced at the 12^th Annual M&A Awards Gala and Summit at the New York Athletic Club in New York City on December 17, 2013.
