Houston Harbaugh Represents Mobile Technologies In Sale Of The Company To Facebook

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Houston Harbaugh, P.C., announced it represented Pittsburgh’s Mobile Technologies, a speech recognition and machine translation company, in the sale of its business to Facebook, which closed on Monday, September 23, 2013. Mobile Technologies developed various technologies, including the Jibbigo translation app which Facebook will now be able to leverage for a range of activities, from voice search to translated news feed posts.

Houston Harbaugh’s James R. Carlisle, II served as lead counsel on the firm’s involvement, which included structuring, negotiating and closing the transaction on behalf of Mobile Technologies. Carlisle helped Mobile Technologies in the formation of the company and served on its board of directors since its inception. He is head of Houston Harbaugh’s Business Owner Exit Planning Group and a Director in the Corporate Department.
