Mobile device accessories and technology company, ZAGG Inc. (ZAGG), has partnered with leading distributor of IT products and services, Tech Data Corporation (TECD). As per the deal, Tech Data has agreed to supply ZAGG’s accessories to over 60,000 of its U.S. solution providers.
Tech Data is set to provide ZAGG’s innovative accessories, including ZAGGkeys PROPlus ultra-thin aluminum iPad case and keyboard, to its clients. The company expects the addition of ZAGG’s products to its portfolio to widen the scope for its solution providers in addressing the requirements of its clients, who seek better protection and device functionality.
Further, this agreement is expected to enlarge the reach of ZAGG’s product solutions to Tech Data’s vast client base. This in turn provides the company with an opportunity to achieve its goal of expanding global distribution.
Simultaneously, ZAGG’s iFrogz brand announced the launch of a line of eco-friendly protective cases for the Apple Inc’s (AAPL) iPhone 5, called the Natural series, to protect the device from being damaged.
These cases are offered in five varieties, including Cacao, Oasis, Rockwood, Surf and Zabrano. The iFrogz Natural cases are both stylish and tough, designed with distinct prints and provide excellent protection.
ZAGG is involved in designing, manufacturing and distributing products like protective coverings, audio accessories and power solutions for consumer electronics and hand-held devices worldwide. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, the company has operations in the United States and Europe. The company's brand portfolio includes ZAGG, invisibleSHIELD and iFrogz.
