CBIZ Acquires the Employee Benefit Division of Leavitt Pacific Insurance Brokers

CLEVELAND, Nov. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — CBIZ, Inc. (NYSE: CBZ) today announced that it has acquired the employee benefit division of Leavitt Pacific Insurance Brokers, Inc., (“LPIB”), of Campbell, CA, effective November 1, 2012.

Originally co-founded in 1984 by Greg Yoder, and subsequently acquired by LPIB in 2007, the business provides employee benefits, retirement plan services, as well as ancillary business support and services to small-, mid-sized and large clients in the San Jose region. This acquisition is expected to add 18 employees and approximately $2.5 million to CBIZ annualized revenue, and will be integrated into CBIZ’s current San Jose office.
