VANCOUVER, Wash., Aug. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Washington-based senior care provider Prestige Care, Inc. announced today that it plans to expand its footprint with nine skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

The care centers, formerly operated by Eagle Healthcare, will transition to Prestige ownership and operational management on Oct. 1, 2012.

Prestige’s care philosophy is rooted in a set of shared core values that deliver on a promise to provide unmatched quality care, led by a compassionate heart. Across the company, Prestige team members strive to personally touch lives, guided by the four pillars of the company’s core values: respect, integrity, commitment, trust.

“This is an exciting time of growth for Prestige and we are looking forward to welcoming the staff, residents, and families of these new communities into our family of care centers. Our compassionate team is dedicated to providing life-enriching experiences to help residents and communities thrive in ways that are purposeful and personally meaningful. At every turn, our culture-driven approach to care and rehabilitation seeks to deliver a quality experience for residents, staff, and the greater community, and we look forward to sharing our model with our growing family of care communities,” said Harold Delamarter, President and CEO of Prestige Care.

Among the new Washington communities are Eagle Rehabilitation at Sunnyside, Grandview Health Care Center in Grandview, Eagle Rehabilitation at Clarkson, Eagle Rehabilitation at Camas, Richland Rehabilitation Center and Eagle Assisted Living, and Burton Care Center in Burlington.

In Oregon, Menlo Park Healthcare in Portland will join the Prestige family, as will The Orchards Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lewiston, Idaho. The Orchards will be the first skilled nursing center in Idaho join Prestige’s network of care centers.

“Much of our continued growth can be attributed to our steadfast commitment to our core values and the dedication of our people,” Delamarter said. “For us, there’s no greater accomplishment than to provide the highest quality of care from a compassionate heart.”

In recent months and years, many of Eagle Healthcare’s community have received multi-million dollar structural and aesthetic enhancements, which provide a significant benefit to residents and an important resource in delivering Prestige’s philosophy of high quality, compassionate care.

Over the next months, Prestige will begin introducing its lifestyle-centered spectrum of services in each of the newly acquired communities, with official ownership transitioning later this year.

Prestige Care was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Wash. With this acquisition, it now operates 65 senior living communities and skilled nursing care centers throughout the Western United States.
