MIAMI, July 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Centerplate, proud event hospitality partner to the Miami Dolphins, is gearing up for another kind of Football match at Miami‘s Sun Life Stadium, as world soccer powers Chelsea FC and Italy‘s AC Milan square off in the World Football Challenge. Always striving to perfectly tailor unique hospitality plans that match world-class events, Centerplate is unveiling a special menu filled with as much passion and international flair as the game of soccer itself.

The company expects to serve over 62,000 soccer fans at Sun Life Stadium during the match, with a menu that includes:

  • Arepa with Chorizo Sticks: savory Latin Chorizo sausage sticks paired with two thick cornmeal cakes filled with Cotija cheese and grilled to a golden brown.
  • European Crepes, fresh crepes filled with a choice of sliced steak and cheese or strawberry, banana and chocolate filling.
  • Churrasco Chicken Nacho Supreme, spicy chicken with jalapeno pepper slices from Chihuahua, Mexico.
  • “Loaded” Barbeque Baked Potato and Citrus Chipotle Barbeque Chicken Sandwich.

“We’re excited to be hosting these passionate soccer fans here at Sun Life,” said Kevin Mitchell, Centerplate’s General Manager with responsibility for the game. “We’re ready with a stadium menu with the kind of flair they’ll be looking for, and we look forward to hosting many more soccer matches in the future.”
