(HCG), a retained executive search and leadership consulting firm, has acquired The Human Capital Initiative, LLC (HCI), an Atlanta-based human resources and leadership consulting firm. Steve Hayes, founder and senior partner of The Human Capital Group, discovered not only a similarity in names between the two companies but a common foundation and commitment to identifying and developing servant leaders who deliver sustained results. He approached Ed Chaffin, founder and president of HCI, about the possibilities of partnering together in early 2012.
