RED BANK, N.J., May 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Each year, Plymouth Rock Assurance — Teachers’ Insurance Plan of NJ awards five $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from schools across New Jersey as they embark on their college education. Teachers’ Insurance, a New Jersey-only auto insurance company exclusively serving the educational community, provides the scholarship funds through their Quotes for Cash program. The program offers a unique way for students to apply for extra funding in support of their goal in attending a two or four-year college, university or technical school post-high school graduation.

The 2012 recipients are Lauren Beck from Manchester Township High School, Tom Ikuss from North Brunswick Township High School, Amanda Librizzi from Monmouth County Vocational School District Communications High School in Wall Township, Joshua Reed from New Egypt High School and Steve Zheng from Highland Park High School. Each of the students was selected from a highly competitive pool of high school seniors throughout the state based on their academic achievements and leadership skills.
