Gladstone Commercial Corporation Announces Property Acquisition in Dartmouth, Massachusetts

MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Gladstone Commercial Corporation (NASDAQ: GOOD) (the “Company”) reported today that it purchased the leasehold interest in a newly constructed 16,340 square foot retail building in Dartmouth, Massachusetts primarily leased to the Walgreen Company for $5.8 million plus fees and expenses. The Company closed the acquisition simultaneously with a new mortgage for the property. The property is a new build-to-suit retail location for Walgreens. The tenant has leased the property for 75 years with rights to terminate in years 26-75.
