NAPA VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 31, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Ed and Deb Fitts have sold their highly regarded BRAND Napa Valley winery, vineyards, and estate to former senior Apple executives, Jim Bean and Christine O’Sullivan.

The vision of BRAND Napa Valley began after acquisition of the knoll-top estate in 2004 when Fitts enlisted celebrated winemaker Philippe Melka to consult on new vineyard development and later the design of a world class production facility. Now Bean and O’Sullivan are poised to take over stewardship of the property after nearly twenty years of involvement in the Napa Valley, most recently as accomplished grape growers.

“When we met Jim and Christine, Deb and I knew BRAND would continue to flourish under their thoughtful stewardship,” said Ed Fitts. “From the very beginning we felt compelled to develop the potential of this property and we know that Jim and Christine carry that legacy forward.”

The BRAND winery and vineyards are located on coveted Pritchard Hill, surrounded by renowned wineries such as Colgin, David Arthur Vineyards, Ovid, Chappellet and Bryant Family Vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot are planted on the red, rocky volcanic soils above the cloud line overlooking Lake Hennessey. Bean and O’Sullivan will continue to work with Winemaker Melka on future vintages under the BRAND label.
