CALGARY, Jan. 7, 2019
CALGARY, Jan. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ – HydrEra Water Services Canada (“HydrEra”) and LV Energy Services Ltd. (“LV”) are pleased to announce that the two privately-owned companies have entered into an agreement to combine their respective specialty fluid companies on December 29th, 2018.
“As family owned and operated businesses, we are both extremely excited to have entered into an agreement to work hand in hand with each other. We share a common cultural make up that is founded on small town values and a common desire in the pursuit of service excellence.”
Commented Brad Wanchulak CEO of HydrEra.
The amalgamation of the two teams will increase service capacity, improve field execution capabilities and deliver significant operational efficiencies on water projects throughout the Western Sedimentary basin. This transaction marries LV’s industry leading heat innovations with one of Canada’s largest temporary above ground storage fleets and owners of North America’s largest AWSS storage pond unit. The new partnership strengthens both groups’ local presence in Northern B.C./Alberta with a field branch in Grande Prairie to service the Montney, Deep Basin and Duvernay developments as well as Central Alberta’s Cardium and East Duvernay plays, operating out of Rimbey, Alberta.
“The HydrEra – LV combination instantly has our group operating in every major shale play throughout Western Canada, extending both our geographic and operational breadth. This move puts us at the forefront in both scope and scalability when it comes to true full fluid & water management. Our groups share a cultural cohesion that only comes from two companies that were built from the ground up.”
Outlined Jason Henderson President of LV Energy Services.
A combined equipment fleet will consist of fluid storage ponds ranging from 1,850 m3 (11,600 bbls) to 13,500 m3 (85,000 bbls), both long distance and on site fluid transfer hose/pump rentals and associated water logistics & handling equipment in addition to an extensive fleet of 21M–44M BTU dual fuel high efficiency heating units. The result is the collective group that will now have the largest supply of frac water heating and fluid storage units (by volume) in Western Canada able to provide an unmatched bundling opportunity for a full suite of water services.
