Spirit Airlines to Offer More Flights for Spring Travel

Zacks

Spirit Airlines, Inc. SAVE has announced the addition of 11 new routes starting next spring. The carrier’s move is a prudent one, as it is likely to boost traffic on the new routes, thereby driving the top line.

The carrier will provide daily year-round services from Baltimore/Washington, Tampa and Orlando to some attractive destinations in the United States. The airline will offer round trips between Baltimore/Washington and Montego Bay, Jamaica as well as Denver. The daily year-round services will be operational from Mar 22, 2018. From Tampa, the airline will provide round trips to Los Angeles and Las Vegas with the flights operating on a daily, year-round basis from next Apr 12 onward. Additionally, the carrier will offer a year-round service, which is a daily roundtrip between Orlando and Las Vegas, from the same date.

The ultra-low cost carrier will also offer daily seasonal round trips from Seattle/Tacoma and Detroit to some important places. It will connect Seattle/Tacoma to Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth and Minneapolis/St. Paul. This service will too commence on Apr 12. This apart, the airline will offer services from Detroit to Portland and San Diego, slated to initiate from Apr 23.

On another positive note, Spirit Airlines is scheduled to begin service to Columbus and Richmond in early 2018. Following this addition, the carrier will cover a total of around 62 sites on its travel list, which is again likely to grow in the upcoming year.
