NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Nov. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Franklin Data announced today that it has completed its acquisition of assets of Scarab Acquisition, LLC effective November 1, 2016. Terms of the transaction are confidential.

The transaction will provide Franklin Data access to Scarab’s Relativity data hosting environment along with operations in Midtown Manhattan NY and Houston TX, helping to better serve corporate, enterprise and legal customers. In addition, the acquired infrastructure, processing, analytics, and hosting environment will bolster Franklin’s current operations.

Separately, Franklin will take over Scarab’s Midtown New York offices which will be an extension to its One World Trade and Jersey City, NJ offices, and has immediate plans to expand its Houston, TX office to accommodate its newly acquired professionals and increased client operations.

Scarab was also ready to launch its new cyber security service brand called SecurityRenewed. Franklin has been in the digital safeguarding sector since its inception and has plans to immediately integrate this service and brand into its offerings.
