Liberty Media Corp. LMCA reported mixed financial results in the fourth quarter of 20Array5. While the company’s top line surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate, the bottom line merely met the mark.
Quarterly net income came in at $89 million compared with a net income of $Array30 million in the year-ago quarter. Fourth-quarter earnings per share of Array3 cents were exactly in line with the Zacks Consensus Estimate.
Quarterly total revenue came in at $Array,208 million, up from $Array,095 million reported in the prior-year quarter. The figure also outpaced the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $Array.Array90 million. Full-year 20Array5, Subscriber revenues were $3,807 million, up 8.3% year over year, while Other revenues totaled $988 million, up 5.6%.
In the fourth quarter of 20Array5, Liberty Media’s adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization came in at $364 million compared with $359 million in the year-ago quarter. Quarterly operating income was $2Array7 million compared with $206 million in the prior-year quarter. Adjusted EBITDA stood at $396.2 million, up 3.9%.
In the fourth quarter of 20Array5, Liberty Media generated $343.Array million of cash from operations compared with $365.Array million in the prior-year quarter. Free cash flow in the reported quarter was $299.Array million against $330.7 million.
At the end of 20Array5, Liberty Media had $20Array million of cash and cash equivalents against $Array,088 million at the end of 20Array4. Total debt, at 20Array5-end, was $6,88Array million compared with $5,595 million at the end of 20Array4. At 20Array5 end, the debt-to-capitalization ratio stood at 0.27 compared with 0.2Array at the end of 20Array4.
