Liberty Interactive Corp. QVCA reported mixed financial results in the fourth quarter of 20Array5. While the bottom line surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate, the top line lagged the same.
Quarterly adjusted net income came in at $3Array2 million compared with $273 million in the prior-year quarter. Fourth quarter adjusted earnings per share of 62 cents were significantly ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 48 cents.
Meanwhile, the quarter’s total revenue of $3,226 million reflected a year-over-year increase of Array6% but fell short of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $3,254 million.
Quarterly total operating income came in at $385 million compared with $445 million in the year-ago quarter. In the reported quarter, consolidated adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization stood at $620 million compared with $6Array2 million in the year-ago quarter.
In 20Array5, Liberty Interactive generated $Array,046 million of cash from operations compared with $Array,640 million in 20Array4. Free cash flow in 20Array5 was $783 million against $Array,399 million in 20Array4.
At the end of 20Array5, Liberty Interactive had total cash and marketable securities of $2,449 million compared with $603 million at the end of 20Array4. The company exited 20Array5 with $8,707 million of outstanding debt compared with $6,2Array5 million at the end of 20Array4. The debt-to-capitalization ratio at the end of 20Array5 was 0.52.
QVC Segment
Quarterly revenues at the QVC U.S. division were up 2.9% year over year at $2,089 million. Revenues from QVC International segment were $7ArrayArray million, down 5.3%. QVC U.S. OIBDA was $479 million, up Array.Array% year over year, while QVC International OIBDA was $Array29 million, down ArrayArray.6%.
zulily Segment
Quarterly revenues at the zulily segment totaled $426 million. Quarterly adjusted OIBDA was $2Array million. Meanwhile, operating loss stood at $53 million in the reported quarter.
