NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — On Thursday, August 20th, Music City Merchandise (MCM) and Futureshirts (FS) officially merged, with the joined company staying with the name “Futureshirts.” Temporarily, the new Futureshirts will maintain residence at both locations but hopes to consolidate to one space in the coming months.

Temporarily, the new Futureshirts will maintain residence at both locations but plans to consolidate to one space in the coming months.

For the past nineteen years FS has been producing merchandise through an online platform focusing on the ease of use, quick design changes, and real-time product information streamed to their clients. FS is creating apps that allow clients access to more products, a larger pool of design ideas and the option to create less inventory by recognizing the brand’s best-selling products. This new smartphone app will allow clients to quickly view new product designs, current order information and old invoices.

For the last twenty-three years, MCM has provided full package services from design to tour sales and inventory, a one-stop-shop for clients. “We pride ourselves on service,” said Carl Gibbs, the owner of MCM, “and with this new combined company, we can serve our clients even better!”

The combination of these two companies essentially makes a one-stop solution for artists that sell merchandise and want to work with an established company that has a passion for the industry. “Futureshirts is unique. No other merchandise company is like us. We are fans of these bands and artists,” Jon Ekker, managing partner of FS said. “We take the product and technology and make it easy for our clients to know exactly where they stand with their merchandise.”

Both MCM and FS have been providing merchandising services for nearly twenty years. MCM has provided merchandise for mainly rock and country music artists, while FS works primarily with Christian music artists. Regardless of their genre differences, both companies have been privileged to work some of the biggest names in music such as the Doobie Brothers, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Antique Archaeology, Third Day and TobyMac.

“Our mission for this new Futureshirts will be faster delivery of new products, an expansion in new product testing and increased revenues for clients,” said Gibbs. “I’m very excited to be on board; I’m excited to see how we are received once bands and artists realize what this new company can offer!”
