MasterCard Incorporated MA announced that the online fresh food grocer, FreshDirect will now use the digital payments platform, MasterPass, of the former. Customers of FreshDirect can now expect safe online and in-app payment process by via MasterPass.
FreshDirect customers can now place their order online and make payments by clicking just once. This will surely make the payment process easier of FreshDirect customers, who will be relieved of the hassle of entering delivery and billing information.
For 15 days starting Dec 16, customers will get $25 off on the first-time use of MasterPass to buy groceries through FreshDirect.com or the FreshDirect app.
MasterPass is a simple yet effective way of handling payments via the web or a mobile device. Launched in 2013, MasterPass, available in 24 countries, provides merchants and customers an instant competitive e-commerce solution, enhancing shopping experiences by eliminating the need to enter detailed information at every purchase.
