Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Closes CoR Advisors Acquisition

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated JLL recently declared that it has closed the previously announced acquisition of CoR Advisors, an energy management and building systems integrator for commercial and corporate facilities. In fact, JLL had inked the deal to buy CoR Advisors back in Jun 2015. With CoR Advisors’ proficiency in integration and applications expected to suitably support JLL’s emphasis on high-performance technology solutions for buildings, this acquisition will likely be accretive for the latter, going forward.

CoR Advisors’ founder Darlene Pope was roped in as the senior vice president of JLL’s Energy and Sustainability Services for the Americas. The team, led by Darlene Pope, would offer smart solutions involving state-of-the-art technology and energy efficiency for buildings.

In fact, JLL has been making a series of acquisitions of late. During the first 9 months of 2015, the company completed as many as 12 buyouts in Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Japan, Poland, Sweden, Turkey and the U.S. (read more: Jones Lang LaSalle's (JLL) Acquisition Drive Continues).

Currently, JLL holds a Zacks Rank# 2 (Buy).

Other well-ranked stocks in the real estate space include Henderson Land Development Co. Ltd. HLDCY, CBRE Group Inc. CBG and Reis, Inc. REIS. All three stocks carry the same Zacks Rank as JLL.
