Earnings: Windstream reported narrower than expected Q2 loss estimate. Our consensus loss estimate called 61 cents per share and the company posted loss of 48 cents per share.

Revenue: Windstream reported total revenue of $1,419 million, above the Zacks Consensus estimate of $1,417 million.

Key States to Note: In the reported quarter, Windstream lost 2.9% high speed internet customers and 5.5% digital television customers. At the end of second quarter, the company had 1,573,800 voice lines customers.
