PPG Industries, Inc. PPG announced that it has launched the new Glidden Grab-N-Go paint collection exclusively at Walmart stores. This will facilitate customers to access pre-mixed cans of paint in numerous colors and sizes right off the shelf, without the need to go to the conventional paint counter. Glidden is a brand of PPG Architectural Coatings, a business of PPG Industries.
The paint portfolio includes 11 best-selling shades from the Glidden brand’s palette along with another color – Bermuda Bay – which was voted into the range by Walmart stores’ Facebook followers. Together, these top 12 colors from the industry in the Grab-N-Go collection are available in pre-mixed sample, quart, one-gallon and five-gallon containers.
According to Jill Lamont, channel manager, PPG Architectural Coatings, the Grab-N-Go program has speeded up the process of choosing and purchasing paint in addition to making it more convenient and time-saving for shoppers. Moreover, the program offers beautiful colors to enable shoppers to complete their home-renovation projects at an affordable price.
The Grab-N-Go paint collection features a palette of both neutral and bright colors such as Granite Grey, Dapper Tan and Red Delicious, at a starting price of $17.97 per gallon, and is part of the Glidden brand’s High Endurance product line.
PPG Industries has a diversified business and a leading position in several paints and coatings end markets. Healthy momentum across automotive OEM, automotive refinish and aerospace markets is expected to support the company’s results this year. PPG Industries should also continue to gain from acquisitions.
