CACI International CACI recently announced that it has secured a $159 million contract to develop and implement the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) – a web-based system that will integrate soldier personnel and pay processes and data.
This new contract will allow CACI International to expand its work in the business systems market. This new system, while ensuring that all soldiers are paid timely and accurately, is likely to reduce the dependence of the army on other multiple systems. CACI International, with it pre-existing expertise in providing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-based systems, intends to improve effectiveness of business processes of the army, thereby enabling cost reduction.
Moving forward, CACI International’s revenues are expected to improve with the current contract. CACI International has a huge pipeline of new projects and continues to win deals at regular intervals. These contract wins are key growth catalysts for the company. In addition, the U.S. government being one of the company’s biggest clients lends stability to the business with a steady revenue stream.
